
The UP Diliman Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts (UPD-OICA) is looking for a Senior Project Assistant (Special Projects and Exhibitions Management).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- With skills and work experience in event and/or production management
- Excellent organizational, project- and time-management skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino
- Highly competent in MS applications
- Civil Service Eligibility an advantage but not essential
- Highly motivated with a passion for the development of culture and the arts
through community engagement
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the management of the University Collections Database/Resource and helps implement the public access systems of the online and printed resource, including handling related inquiries and communication;
- Project management of OICA special projects such as multi-form creative works, and exhibitions (on-site/physical and online); includes administrative work and coordination;
- Act as office representative for various institutional events, special projects, and online engagements assigned to OICA;
- Work with the other Senior Project Assistant on project assessments and on suggestions for policies and procedures regarding project management and other programs that support the vision and mandate of OICA;
- Manage the documentation and records management of the Production and Events Management Section;
- Maintain a directory/database of suppliers, artists, and service providers, with the other Senior Project Assistant;
- Assist in the research and documentation requirements of the University Collection Database and OICA programs and operations;
- Perform other office functions that may be assigned from time to time by the OICA Director, e.g. Secretariat work for UPD-OICA Advisory Board sub-committees.
