Mga Pasilidad Pangkultura

Across its sprawling campus, the University of the Philippines Diliman has various kinds of cultural facilities. Cultural facilities are historically and culturally signicant spaces in the University that are used for artistic and cultural activities. There are indoor spaces, such as museums and galleries, as well as auditoriums, theaters, and cinemas. There are also open spaces that have been activated as venues for exhibits, performances, trainings, workshops, rallies, parades, and other artistic and cultural activities.

Sa kabuoang lawak ng kampus nito, matatagpuan sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas Diliman ang iba’t ibang uri ng pasilidad pangkultura. Ang mga ito ay may kabuluhang pangkasaysayan at pangkultura sa Unibersidad, at nagsisilbing espasyo para sa mga programa sa sining at kultura. Kabilang dito ang mga espasyo sa loob ng gusali, tulad ng mga museo at galeriya, pati na rin ang mga awditoryo, teatro, at sinehan. Mayroon ding mga bukás na espasyo na ginagamit para sa mga eksibit, pagtatanghal, pagsasanay, palihan, rally, parada, at iba pang aktibidad na may kaugnayan sa sining at kultura.

These spaces serve as platforms for cultivating artists and scholars in the fields of dance, literature, music, sciences, sports, theater, and visual arts, and have borne witness to the development of some of the country’s renowned talents and minds. To this day, these cultural facilities continue to act as sites of dynamic learning and generative exchanges, allowing the University community to develop and sustain local and international linkages in the interest of enriching humanistic knowledge and practice

Nagsisilbing plataporma ang mga espasyong ito sa paglinang sa mga artist at iskolar sa larang ng sayaw, panitikan, musika, agham, isports, teatro, at sining biswal, at naging saksi sa paghubog ng ilan sa kinikilalang talento at kaisipan sa bansa. Hanggang sa kasalukuyan, nananatili ang mga pasilidad pangkulturang ito bilang mga pook ng dinamikong pagkatuto at makabuluhang pagpapalitan, na nagtataguyod sa komunidad ng Unibersidad upang mapalawak at maipagpatuloy ang ugnayang lokal at internasyonal tungo sa pagpapayabong ng makataong kaalaman at praktika.

Auditoriums, Cinemas, & Theaters

The auditoriums, cinemas, and theaters in the University are used for concerts, theatrical plays, lm screenings, conferences, seminars, and other events. These are venues where students, organizations, and academic units innovate, collaborate, and engage the public with explorative and socially relevant activities and programs.

Ginagamit ang mga awditoryo, sinehan, at teatro sa Unibersidad para sa mga konsiyerto, dula, pagpapalabas ng pelikula, kumperensiya, seminar, at iba pang gawain. Sa mga lugar na ito nakalilikha, nakikipagtulungan, at nakikisalamuha sa publiko ang mga mag-aaral, organisasyon, at yunit akademiko sa pamamagitan ng mga mapanlikha at makabuluhang gawain at programa.

Museums, Galleries, & Collections

Mga Museo, Galeriya, at Koleksiyon

The University takes pride in its extensive collection of cultural and natural heritage housed in its museums and galleries under the stewardship of various units and institutions. Beyond safekeeping, these places invite the public to engage in educational conversations, present creative and research work, and train students in collecting and caring for objects and specimens.

Ipinagmamalaki ng Unibersidad ang malawak nitong koleksiyon ng pamanang pangkultura at likas, na matatagpuan sa mga museo at galeriya sa ilalim ng pangangalaga ng iba’t ibang yunit at institusyon. Higit pa sa pag-iingat, nag-aanyaya ang mga lugar na ito sa publiko na makilahok sa mga talakayang pang-edukasyon, magtanghal ng malikhaing gawa at pananaliksik, at magsanay sa mga mag-aaral sa pangongolekta at pangangalaga ng mga bagay at espesimen.

Sports Facilities

Mga Pasilidad Pang-Isports

The University’s sports facilities serve as the training grounds for the UP Fighting Maroons and as ‘classrooms’ for Physical Education classes. These are spaces for honing athletic skills as well as building a sense of camaraderie between teammates, league members and spectators within and outside the UP community.

Ang mga pasilidad pang-isports ng Unibersidad ay nagsisilbing lugar ng pagsasanay para sa UP Fighting Maroons at ‘silid-aralan’ para sa mga klase sa Physical Education. Ito ay mga espasyong humuhubog hindi lamang sa kasanayang pang-isports kundi pati na rin sa diwa ng samahan ng mga manlalaro, kasapi ng liga, at mga manonood mula sa loob at labas ng komunidad ng UP.

Multi-purpose Spaces

Mga Espasyong Multi-purpose

The campus also has multi-purpose spaces that are historically and culturally significant to members of the UP community and the country. These were, and continue to be, sites where protest, the performance of traditions, and important discourses of the day take place, demonstrating the University’s commitment to uphold honor, excellence, service, compassion, and freedom for its constituents and the community beyond.

Ang kampus ay mayroon ding mga espasyong multi-purpose na may kabuluhang pangkasaysayan at pangkultura para sa mga miyembro ng komunidad ng UP at ng buong bansa. Mula noon hanggang ngayon, nagsisilbing lugar ang mga ito ng protesta, pagtatanghal ng mga tradisyon, at mahahalagang talakayan sa kasalukuyan, na nagpapakita ng paninindigan ng Unibersidad na panatilihin ang dangal, kahusayan, serbisyo, malasakit, at kalayaan para sa kaniyang mga miyembro at sa mas malawak na komunidad.

Libraries

Mga Aklatan

The University library system is composed of unit libraries that provide resources and spaces for learning for students, faculty, staff, and visiting scholars. As the main repository of print, analog, and digital resources of the University, the Library system safeguards and protects the UP community’s institutional and cultural memory.

Ang sistemang aklatan ng Unibersidad ay binubuo ng mga yunit-aklatan na nagbibigay ng mga risorses at espasyo para sa pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral, guro, kawani, at panauhing iskolar. Bilang pangunahing repositoryo ng mga print, analog, at materyales na dihital ng Unibersidad, iniingatan at pinoprotektahan ng sistema ng Aklatang ito ang alaala ng institusyon at kultura ng komunidad ng UP.
