UP Diliman Arts and Culture Festival 2026

February 2026
UP Diliman, Quezon City

The UP Diliman Arts and Culture Festival 2026 highlights the spirit of the university as an institution of learning that brings together different forms of knowledge, practices, as well as epistemic and expressive traditions, as a means of enriching efforts towards attaining a sustainable, equitable, just society for all. It is only by recognizing and valuing the contributions of diverse members of the community can the collective well-being of society be achieved and sustained.

The Festival theme, Isang Unibersidad para sa inklusibo at mapagkalingang lipunan, is guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions which “promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”. As such, the Festival sets up a mission for the University community to mobilize and institutionalize efforts that value and celebrate diversity within and beyond the campus, without which meaningful social change cannot take effect.

Members of the UP Diliman community are invited to participate in the Festival through activities, projects, and events that bring forward in creative and imaginative ways distinct, particular, and grounded perspectives that offer fresh and critical directions for bringing about a compassionate and sustainable world.
