3D Printer Workshop and Donations to U.P. Diliman

3D Sinnovations, a leading Australian 3D printer manufacturer, donated three (3) units of Mega Prusa Starter Kits to U.P. Diliman, through the UPD Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts (OICA).  

The formal turnover ceremony of the donations was held on September 23, 2014, at The Executive House. Present in the short ceremony were Chancellor Michael L. Tan, 3D Sinnovations president Mr. Thomas Chow, 3D Stuffmaker president Mr. Rob Grosche, OICA Director Jose Danilo A. Silvestre, and the college Deans – Arch. Mary Ann A. Espina of the College of Architecture, Prof. Leonardo C. Rosete of the College of Fine Arts, and Dr. Aurorita T. Roldan of the College of Home Economics.

The recipients of the donation are the College of Fine Arts, College of Architecture, and the College of Home Economics (CTID).

Prior to the turnover, a 3D Printing Workshop attended by thirty (30) faculty and students from the three colleges was held at the UP College of Architecture on September 22, 2014.
