An annual week-long ceremony to honor the successful and outstanding educators, students, researchers, and extension experts of UP Diliman.
As a member of the Linggo ng Parangal AdHOC Committee, UPD-OICA spearheaded two of the four virtual events, in partnership with other UPD units:
Opening Ceremony (June 21 – 6 p.m.)
“SUHAY”
Linggo ng Parangal 2021 – The event honored members of the UP Diliman community who have exemplified great professionalism and exceptional service despite the restrictions brought about by the pandemic. The University applauds them for never giving up even in the murky faces of a global health crisis and the growing political turbulence in the country.
Sa pagbubukas ng taunang Linggo ng Parangal, kinilala ang mga kasapi ng UP Diliman na naging huwaran sa paglilingkod at pagtataguyod ng kagalingang panlahat. Ipinagmamalaki at ipinagbubunyi sila ng Unibersidad sapagkat hindi sila natinag ng pandemya at banta sa kalayaan, kundi bagkus ay naging matatag na suhay na sandigan ng moog ng walang-pag-iimbot na paglilingkod sa sambayanan. Gawad Tsanselor (June 25 – 6 p.m.)
“MOOG DILIMAN”
The Gawad Tsanselor, UP Diliman’s highest honor for outstanding faculty, researchers, REPS, staff, students, advocacy, organization, and office, was presented to members of the UP community who continue to serve the public in a sincere and unflinching manner.
Sa taong ito, bibigyang-pagkilala ang mga kasapi ng UP Diliman sa pamamagitan ng Gawad Tsanselor, ang pinakamataas na pagkilala ng UP Diliman sa mga natatanging guro, mananaliksik, REPS, kawani, mag-aaral, adbokasiya, organisasyon, at tanggapan. Sila ay pawang nagsilbing mga moog ng pamantasan na nagpapatuloy sa maalab at walang-kapagurang paglilingkod at pagmamalasakit sa sambayanan. (Jem R. Javier, 2021)
