In the early morning of June 24, 2018, the UP Diliman Amphitheater was filled with a staggering 3,576 undergraduates and 1,042 graduate diploma, masters, and doctoral students for the university’s 107th General Commencement Exercises.
Slated to receive her honorary Doctor of Laws, Sen. Loren Legarda addressed the graduating class with much fervor. In attendance were highly esteemed UP officials, faculty members, and notable alumni. Towards the end of the ceremony, China Marie Giuliani Gabriel, BA Broadcast Communication candidate and summa cum laude, delivered the valedictory address.
Intermission songs were performed by the UP Concert Chorus, Triple Fret, and Froilan Canlas.
