UP Diliman marked its 105th founding day with a special flag-raising ceremony at the Quezon Hall. The commemoration was led by UP President Alfredo E. Pascual and UPD Chancellor Caesar A. Saloma with UP System and Diliman officials and personnel in attendance.
The UP Rayadillo and Honor Guards hoisted the flags and the UP ROTC Symphonic Band played Lupang Hinirang and UP Naming Mahal.
Guest performers, tenor Conrado “Dondi” Calnea Ong III and soprano Geraldine “Fame” Flores serenaded the crowd. Ms. Bianca Tallafer was master of ceremonies.
Attendees were treated to a simple fellowship breakfast of rolls and kakanin, coffee and juice at the Quezon Hall Lobby.
