Last 2016, the UP Lantern Parade carried the theme “Himig ng Diliman, Hagkan ang Gabi” to express that, despite our differences, the call for a better nation will always be sung by the greater populace.
Exemplifying the unifying power of collective struggle, fifty-three (53) groups participated in the year’s parade comprised of degree-granting units, administration and support offices, student organizations, and religious groups.
