The annual lighting ceremony was led by UP President Aflredo E. Pascual and UP Diliman Chancellor Michael L. Tan. Special performances by the UP ROTC Symphonic Band and the UP Dawani Women’s Choir treated the audience with a night of beautiful music. The traditional community singing was led by the master of ceremonies, Dr. Jovy Peregrino.
The year’s theme was Pasundayag Diliman – Pag-uugat at Pagyabong.
