Handel’s Messiah 2013
One of the much-awaited annual Christmas activities on campus is HANDEL’s MESSIAH. That year, the concert was presented by the UP Diliman Office of the Chancellor through the College of Music, Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts (OICA), and the UP Theater.
Pag-iilaw 2013
“Pag-iilaw 2013” was held on 2 December at 6:00 pm at the Oblation Plaza. This annual tradition gathers members of the UP Community to witness the simultaneous opening of Christmas Lights on campus amidst special performances by UP Diliman artists and the communal singing of Christmas carols.

Noema Erba in Concert
A Mini-Concert and Voice workshop by renowned Czech lyric soprano Noema Erba and pianist Prof. Augusto Espino was held on October 22, 2013, at 3:00 pm at the Bulwagan ng Dangal. The concert was free for all while the voice workshop was by reservation.
BAGWIS: The Birds of UP Diliman
“BAGWIS: Birds of UP Diliman” was a photo exhibition of UP Diliman’s avian treasures which aimed to promote awareness, appreciation, conservation, and pride of place.
The Celluloid Campus: The University of the Philippines in the Cinematic Imagination
Capping the commemoration of UP Diliman’s 105th Foundation Day, The Celluloid Campus Exhibit was launched at the University Theater Lobby on the evening of 18 June and ran until 31 July. The exhibit gave a glimpse of how the campus evolved since UP’s transfer from Manila in 1949 through select movies with UPD as a film location.
105th Foundation Day of UP Diliman
UP Diliman marked its 105th founding day with a special flag-raising ceremony at the Quezon Hall. The commemoration was led by UP President Alfredo E. Pascual and UPD Chancellor Caesar A. Saloma with UP System and Diliman officials and personnel in attendance.
Formal Unveiling and Turn-over of Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s Bust Sculpture
A simple ceremony was held on March 12, 6 p.m. at the Bulwagan ng Dangal (BnD) for the unveiling and turn-over of the bust sculpture of Fyodor Dostoyevsky made by Russian sculptor Gregory Pototsky.
