This Friday, catch the premiere of 'OPERA EKSENA,' an online blended performance featuring sopranos Kelly Peralejo and Katrina Saporsantos, tenor Ervin Lumauag, baritone Lawrence Jatayna, the UP Dance Company, and the UP College of Music chorus classes.

Bilang pagpupugay sa ika-150 anibersaryo ng kamatayan ng tatlong Pilipinong paring minartir, inihahandog ng UP Diliman Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts (UPD-OICA) ang UP Diliman Arts and Culture Festival 2022, "kaMALAYAn: Pamana ng GomBurZa @ 150." As part of the 2021 Pag-iilaw ceremony held last Dec. 3 at Quezon Hall, UP officials and esteemed faculty members observed a moment of silence to honor those who had lost their lives in the pandemic.

Last July 25, the University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD) hosted its 2nd virtual General Commencement Exercises with 29 summa cum laude graduates.

An annual week-long ceremony to honor the successful and outstanding ​​educators, students, researchers, and extension experts of UP Diliman. 

Newly elected Chancellor Fidel Nemenzo was formally inducted into the university's leadership board last June 7, 2021 at the UP Theater Stage.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, both the HASPAG and PASP Conferment Ceremonies were conducted via a virtual platform. To avoid any internet issues, performance pieces and speeches were pre-recorded. These were expertly interwoven with the assistance of an online moderator who broadcasted live from the event studio.

UP Diliman held the first ever virtual Pag-iilaw with the theme “Abot-Kamay, Abot-Tanaw: Sulong sa Bago at Mas Mainam na Bukas," at Quezon Hall. The event gathered UPD’s various sectors in a hybrid type of celebration - accessible both online and on-site.
